Lifecycle of a Job

Each job in FieldPal goes through a number of stages thoughout its life. These are:

1. Unallocated 
The job has been created but has not yet been assigned to a worker.
 

2. Allocated 
The job has been assigned to a worker.   
 

3. On-Device   
The job has now been downloaded to the FieldPal app and is in the Inbox ready to be started.   
 

4. On-Route   
The allocated worker has selected the job from their Inbox and indicated that they are travelling to the destination at which the job is to take place.   
 

5. In-Progress   
The field worker has indicated within the FieldPal app that they have begun the job.   
 

6. Completed 
The field worker has completed the job details sheet within the FieldPal app and the submitted worksheet has been sent to the cloud and is availble for viewing within the portal.   

Restrictions

Once a job has reached the following stages :

• On-Route
• In-Progress
• Completed

 you can no longer reschedule or re-allocate the job as it has effectively already been started.
